JODIE HILL

ABOUT JODIE

Following her mental breakdown (which she now refers to as her mental breakthrough!), Jodie decided to set up her employment law firm where her values around mental health and diversity and inclusion would be the foundations of the firm and are embodied in everything she and the Thrive Tribe do.

Outside of Thrive Law, Jodie is the founder and chair of This is Me Yorkshire, a global business-led mental health initiative; she is a Law Car Champion, a member of Neurodiversity in Law, and in 2020 was appointed as a member of The Law Society’s Employment Law Committee.

Jodie appears on regional and national TV and radio, most recently Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch. She has appeared on BBC World and regional news, Sky news and ITV news and featured in the Guardian, Times, and Independent, to name a few!

MELISSA TOMLINSON

ABOUT MELISSA

Melissa has worked for over 10 years in her family Global Publishing Firm, Emerald, which was sold in 2022.

She worked in various roles including Employee Experience, Head of Community Partnerships and Non-Executive Director on the Group Board.

She now works as Chair for the family Foundation, The Keith Howard Foundation, Chair of Leeds Rhinos Netball and Director in her family company in property development.

Having experienced mental health herself for many years she is extremely passionate about demystifying the concept of ‘mental health’ and helping others to share their story and help towards a healthier, more positive, and balanced lifestyle.

HOWARD HALL

ABOUT HOWARD

Howard is a tech Entrepreneur/Investor and founder/CEO of DTP Group based in Leeds. He considers himself a lifelong learner with a passion for helping others find their “mojo” and way to clarity. He is delighted to be a Board Member of This is Me Yorkshire, championing Wellness in Workplace.

Howard is also Chair of Action for Children Byte Night Charity, raising valuable funds to give young people going through hardship a positive step towards their adult life. Outside of these, he enjoys sports, participating and spectating, and lives with his Golden Labrador and horses in the countryside just south of York.

TILLY LEWIS

ABOUT TILLY

Tilly is a Marketing Manager and Wellbeing Ambassador at Boxclever Consulting, a renowned market research agency. She boasts over 15 years of diverse marketing experience spanning various sectors. Prior to her current role, Tilly proudly owned and operated a “community café”, where individuals from all backgrounds found solace and a sense of belonging. Drawing from her personal journey and the impact of mental health challenges on her loved ones, Tilly is deeply passionate about promoting mental wellbeing. In her spare time, she enjoys long walks with her dogs, followed by a cozy afternoon at a countryside pub (ideally with some grub).

MILLIE CREBER

ABOUT MILLIE

Millie is Executive Assistant at Thrive Law. She provides valued all-round support for Jodie Hill, Managing Partner, and the wider team. She has supported C-Suite executives for more than 10 years.

In 2022, Millie made the decision to leave her home in Surrey to follow a lifetime goal of travelling around South East Asia. On her return, she relocated to Yorkshire.

Millie is passionate about being part of a company that is making a real difference to others, especially around ED&I, mental health and wellbeing.

LEIGH STAUNTON

ABOUT LEIGH

Leigh is Project Coordinator of the Leeds Mindful Employer Network. The Leeds Mindful Employer Network brings local employers together to champion positive mental health at work and make Leeds a leading city in this area. Led by employers, for employers, this initiative is commissioned by Leeds City Council and delivered by Leeds Mind in partnership with a group of Leeds employers from a variety of sectors and industries. Providing free information, guidance, resources and networking events on a wide range of workplace wellbeing topics and with over 700 local businesses and organisations involved, the Leeds Mindful Employer Network is the only one of its kind in the UK.

With over 15 years experience in workplace training, employability and mental health support as well as lived experience of mental health throughout her life, Leigh is passionate about normalising conversations about mental health in the workplace and beyond. Through leading the Leeds Mindful Employer Network and being involved in This is Me, Leigh hopes to achieve the goal of making mental health and wellbeing in the workplace everyone’s business.

Leigh lives in Horsforth with her husband and three children.

MARK DUGDALE

ABOUT MARK

Mark is currently Marketing Manager at Thrive Law. He is a journalist, copywriter and marketer who has been working in and writing about the legal sector since 2009.

From the general office of a prominent London law firm and then its business development department, to the front pages of publications dedicated to patent, trademark and copyright law while travelling the world to attend and report on legal conferences and exhibitions, Mark has seen much of the fantastic work that lawyers do and grown adept at telling their stories.

JONATHAN EDGELEY

ABOUT JONATHAN

Jonathan is a global behavioural health expert, speaker, and navigator who compassionately guides individuals and families through times of change.

Jonathan and his multi-disciplinary team of doctors, clinicians, coaches, and therapeutic teachers provide a hyper personal and discreet addiction, mental health, and wellness service to individuals and families.

Jonathan is on a mission to further reduce the stigma and negative connotation that mental health and addiction conjure up by softening the language used: “My team and I are moving away from traditional terms to a more compassionate and inclusive dialect.”

Through crafting soul nourishing experiences, individual guests immerse themselves in hyper personalised programmes: “We change one life at a time, on a cellular and spiritual level.”

Through his own journey of battling addiction, Jonathan has made his passion his purpose, helping transform the lives of many people to live a life without limitation.

Jonathan has been instrumental in the design, build and CQC registration of two UK-based, bespoke mental health and addiction providers. Today, he is the founder of Montrose Health Group, which provides luxury healing retreats, residential drug and alcohol treatment, sober living, and health concierge.

GENNA MORGAN

ABOUT GENNA

Genna is a Relationship Director for West & North Yorkshire at Barclays. She has worked in the banking and financial services sector for over 15 years, in a variety of relationship roles. She currently works with SME businesses in our region. She is a new member of This is Me Yorkshire’s committee, having wanted to get involved in a subject that has been close to home after seeing first hand what impact mental health has had to some of her own family. She wants to be able to share the initiative with the businesses she works with day to day, to support them in creating a better place to work.
